Role Summary:As a Senior Financial Analyst for Product Development, youll lead the management of financials for a major area of Rivian product development spend. This area is critical for the success of both consumer (R1, R2) and commercial (EDV) products. A successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the ability to drive cost to affordable targets, build strong relationships with technical leaders, and be self-motivated to set solid financial foundations for Rivian product development spend.
Responsibilities: Develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners including program, engineering, prototyping, and special projects to drive towards cost and profitability targets
Manage and support month end close process, complete timely reporting in line with Corporate Accounting policies and guidelines
Approve spend based on targets that have been agreed upon with key stakeholders, driving team towards cost effectiveness
Continue to develop more effective processes on tracking usage of materials across various Rivian facilities
Effectively support the financial forecast and analysis of headcount and operating budgets, including supporting the development and communication of expense forecasts to leadership and to internal finance business partners
Execute on ad hoc analysis to support leadership decision making process; transform data into actionable insights and recommendations
Salary Range for Irvine, CA-based applicants: $87,000 - $111,000 annually (Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location and other factors permitted by law).
