    The Junior Regional Operations Manager is responsible for the oversight and management of residential PV projects within a given regional site.

    The Junior Regional Operation Manager provides day-to-day supervision and coordination of the scheduling, inspections, installations, service work, and all field activities related to the physical installation of the PV array by Ion Solar installation teams and any coordinated subcontractors.


    Duties/Responsibilities:


    Manage a team of offices comprised of 3-5 company offices in other statesManage a team of service technicians, electricians, inspection techs, and warehouse employeeFormulate performance improvement plans and make termination decisions as necessaryInterview, select, and train new employeesMentor, evaluate employee work and productivity, and develop employeesMeet with team members one-on-one to provide continual coaching and evaluation of processes and proceduresMonitor day to day work of staff for process adherence and complianceEngage in continuing education and training for the teamManage the project schedule throughout the project lifecycle and secure any unique materials and/or equipment required to complete the projectManage relationship with the customer to schedule work and coordinate servicesDefine elements of work, develop scope, solicit and manage bid process for subcontracted work as requiredExecute all obligations associated with the project contractDefine the schedule and budget to meet contract requirementsProvide direction and coordination of all field activitiesManage the project cycle for residential PV ProjectsAdvise on pre-design, design, and processOversee installation crews and installation progressArrange, schedule, and conduct key project meetings with inspectors, customers, and sub-contractorsEnsure project quality is at or above standardsRequired Skills/Abilities:Knowledge of residential construction including practices and sequence of workIn-depth knowledge of residential PV installations, and wiring configurationsKnowledge of construction contracts, subcontracts, and the bid processWorking knowledge of commercial electrical systemsStrong problem-solving skills and ability to professionally communicate and provide solutions to teamExcellent written and verbal communication skills requiredExcellent customer service skills requiredRegular, reliable, and predictable attendance requiredAbility to work well with others in a collaborative team environmentEducation and Experience:A highschooldiploma or equivalent isrequired5-7 years of construction-related experience; 1-3 of that in PV Solar industry experienceValid state driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

    Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal screen.
