    Description

    This position is in the Global Compensation Controller team, responsible the functions relating to accounting and reporting of the carried interest compensation plans.

    Top 3 skills:

    • Accounting Experience (Specifically Month End processing and Reconciliation)

    • Financial Services or Investment Banking industry
    Responsibilities Include:
    • Prepare or review monthly, quarterly and year-end financial close activities for carried interest compensation plans including mark-to-market revenue and expense, fund distributions and payments to participants
    • Perform monthly reconciliations of balance sheet and P&L accounts
    • Prepare monthly and quarterly investment and compensation reporting schedules
    • Liaise with various internal and external stakeholders including Human Resources, Investment Management Controllers, Legal Entity Controllers, Financial and Regulatory Reporting, Tax and Brokerage's fund and plan administrators
    • Maintain and update strong control environment/audit documentation
    • Assist with Ad Hoc requests and projects
    Skills Required:
    • BS/BA in Accounting, Finance or Business
    • CPA candidate preferred
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting/finance experience, compensation/investment accounting a plus
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel
    Skills Desired:
    • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and multi-tasking skills
    • Ability to prioritize and complete deliverables in a timely manner with high attention to detail
