    As a member of the Support organization, your focus is to deliver post-sales support and solutions to the Oracle customer base while serving as an advocate for customer needs.

    This involves resolving post-sales non-technical customer inquiries via phone and electronic means, as well as, technical questions regarding the use of and troubleshooting for our Electronic Support Services.

    A primary point of contact for customers, you are responsible for facilitating customer relationships with Support and providing advice and assistance to internal Oracle employees on diverse customer situations and escalated issues.

    As a Technical Analyst 1-Support, you will be the technical interface to customers, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Value-Added Resellers (VARs) for resolution of problems related to the installation, recommended maintenance and use of Oracle products.

    Your primary task will be to provide level one support to customers who contact the Oracle Solution Center and maintain high level of customer satisfaction while meeting guidelines (mostly through electronic means).Work involves some problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and procedures.


    Qualifications:
    + U.S. Citizenship on U.S. soil is required. This position requires you to be eligible to receive a federal security clearance which requires you to be a U.S. Citizen.


    • At least 4 years total combined completed higher education and/or related work experience including:
    Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience. Preferred

    + At least 1 year experience in Application Support and SQL + Good knowledge and hands on Experience with Linux and SQL Expectations: + Must reside in or willing to relocate to Kansas City, metropolitan area night shifts (7:00pm - 7:00am) + Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations + Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position + Perform other responsibilities as assigned Career Level
    • IC1 Responsibilities The Immediate Response Center is excited to hire a Technical Analyst 1 Support.
    You will provide technical support for internal tools/applications and processes. In this role you will proactively monitor system/application alarms, investigate, analyze, resolve or escalate alarms and service requests. Your responsibility also includes, prioritizing and managing work queue in accordance with service level agreements, documenting investigation and issue resolution, triaging issues to appropriate second-level resources for resolution, investigating and diagnosing performance issues of tools/applications. Additionally, you will troubleshoot by gathering information, shadowing end users, testing workflows internally/externally, analyzing log files, querying tables and updating database fields.

    Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only US:

    Hiring Range:
    from $21.92 to $42.93 per hour; from $45,600 to $89,300 per annum. May be eligible for equity.

    Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.

    Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

    Paid time off:
    Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits.

    For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment.

    Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation paid holidays 10.


    Paid sick leave:
