    Company Description

    We are a holistic healthcare practice in Virginia Beach, offering behavioral health services, primary care/preventive medicine, and other treatment modalities including occupational therapy, physical therapy, and trauma-informed yoga. Substance abuse treatment (medication assisted treatment, group/individual therapy, etc) are offered. We are a military-centered practice and are dedicated to supporting those who formerly and actively are defending our nation; this includes our local first responders who keep us safe every day. Patients of all ages are welcome; same day appointments may be available.

    Role Description

    This is a full-time Practice Manager role at Panacea Behavioral Health & Wellness located in Virginia Beach, VA. As a Practice Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the practice, managing administrative and financial processes, and providing support to the clinical staff. You will also work closely with other departments to ensure the smooth operation of the practice and the delivery of exceptional patient care. Monitoring of billing/collections and communicating with outside contractors is required.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business management, or a related field
    • Previous experience in a medical or mental health practice management role
    • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance
    • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
    • Proficiency in practice management software and electronic health records systems
    • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
    • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
    • Attention to detail and accuracy
    • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team
    • Proficiency with medical coding/billing, credentialing, and contract negotiations
    • Proficiency with Quickbooks, Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
