Scott Benson

My career thus far has been spent in intensive care nursing and management for the past 14 years. During that time, I have expanded my knowledge and moved progressively into leadership roles. I have experience as charge nurse, preceptor, and more recently joined the RN tier 2 ICU float pool with Bon Secours, where I have been able to care for the most vulnerable and ill patients. I can thus offer a unique blend of hands-on expertise, paired with leadership and administration skills. 

As a registered nurse I look forward to entering that next step in my contribution to the healthcare community. I hold a master’s degree in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care, a BSN, and an associate degree in Nursing. I have a solid theoretical background upon which I have built my practical expertise. 

I have received several awards in my career, including the Florence Nightingale Award, Clinical Excellence Award, and two Daisy Award nominations. I mention these as indicators of the level of care and leadership I will bring to the table, if given the privilege of joining your team.
