    Description

    LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Maintenance Manager, based in Cumberland County, New Jersey, reporting directly to the Plant Manager. This role entails overseeing a team responsible for maintenance operations within our facility, covering various aspects such as equipment upkeep, utilities management, and regulatory compliance.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Enhancing and managing a preventive maintenance program to ensure equipment reliability and operational efficiency, while fostering operator involvement.
    • Budget oversight for facility maintenance, with a focus on identifying cost-saving opportunities.
    • Leading regulatory compliance efforts, including safety protocols and environmental standards.
    • Collaborating on capital projects in conjunction with the Plant Engineer and Leadership Team.
    • Contributing to sustainability initiatives and resource conservation efforts.
    • Fulfilling other duties as necessary.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Supervising a team of 4 direct employees and 25 indirect reports.
    • Monitoring staff productivity, providing feedback, and implementing training and disciplinary measures.
    • Maintaining professional knowledge through educational workshops and publications.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • Strong administrative and supervisory skills.
    • Proficiency in various maintenance areas including electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems, particularly in a fast-paced consumer goods environment.
    • 7-9 years of management experience, preferably with maintenance department leadership.
    • Track record of improving reliability and operational efficiency through maintenance programs.
    • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies.
    • Understanding of manufacturing regulations and quality standards.
    • Experience with maintenance management software (e.g., EMaint).
    • Flexibility to work across shifts and weekends.
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
