    Description

    Accounting Manager (Opportunity to work for a dynamic/growing firm)

    In the role, you would be responsible for:

    • Preparing and reviewing financial statements and footnotes
    • Manage quarterly closing partner entities
    • Review journal entries for firm investment advisor in Investran
    • Manage financial statement audit
    • Support preparation and recording of U.S. income tax provisions, including return-to-provision adjustments and valuation allowance analysis of deferred tax assets
    • Manage tax software administration
    • Identify areas to improve efficiency and accuracy in tax compliance
    • Assist with tax strategies and other projects

    What Youll Need

    • Minimum 7 years in corporate or public accounting
    • Experience with private equity partnership accounting is required
    • Prior audit experience within financial services is preferred
    • Experienced with Federal Income Tax Compliance, including ASC 740
    • Advanced experience with Excel and intermediate with PowerPoint and Word
    • Experienced with Accounting Systems
    • Strong oral and written communication, analytical, and critical thinking skills
    • Detail oriented and organizational skills
    • Bachelor of Science in Accounting or related field

    What Will Set You Apart

    • CPG or distribution industry experience
    • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA Eligible
    • Masters of Science in Accounting/Tax or MBA
