Share this job: Information Systems Security Officer, SeniorKey Role:
Serve as an information systems security officer (ISSO) and support a large DoD enterprise service offering. Work with the government and sof tware development team to ensure the systems remain compliant and with the existing risk management framework (RMF) package and develop documentation for future RMF packages. Review and identify applicable information assurance (IA) vulnerability alerts (IAVAs) and ensure applicable vulnerabilities are mitigated. Develop plans of actions and milestones (PoAMs) for open vulnerabilities.
Basic Qualifications:
2+ years of experience with hands-on security hardening, vulnerability management and audit log review in a Microsoft Windows environment
2+ years of experience in developing and maintaining RMF packages, including maintaining the system and program artifacts (compelling evidence) and assigning security controls based on the system categorization
2+ years of experience with validating assigned security controls, including executing the system security plan (SSP), coordinating validation activities, and initiating the RMF SSPs
Knowledge of DoD STIGs, DoD/IC Risk Management Framework (RMF), and DCSA Industrial Security requirements under the NISPOM/DAAPM
Ability to conduct technical system security reviews using scan tools, including ACAS/Nessus and SCAP
TS/SCI clearance required
Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of experience in Information Systems Security in lieu of a degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience and reviewing open source sof tware development for IA compliance
Information Assurance Manager (IAM) Level 1 Certification
Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP)
Clearance:
