    The Primary Duties and Responsibilities of the
    Resident Engineer- Bridges are:


    • Act as the field point of contact for the Client and all Project Stakeholder
    • Report directly to the assigned HDR Project Manager and / or HDR Department Manager
    • Manage & supervise an assigned HDR and Sub-consultant REI Field Staff consisting of field office personnel and construction field inspectors.
    • Responsible to conduct construction schedule analysis reviews along with recommendation
    • Responsible to review and document verifications of daily construction inspection
    • Assists in the preparation and negotiations of construction change order
    • Prepares daily, weekly and monthly project progress report
    • Schedules and chairs Project Progress meetings and distributes Meeting Minute
    • Performs routine assignments requiring application of spreadsheets, databases, and scheduling software.

    Qualifications


    Required Qualifications


    • BS in Civil Engineering or Construction
    • 15 years progressive experience in Bridge Engineering and Construction Inspection
    • P.E. License is required
    • Must be able to work in a team environment
    • Must be computer literate, experience with Microsoft Office, Primavera, or related construction package
    • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skill
    • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
    • Candidates who reside locally in the NY Metro area are preferred.

    Typical starting pay range for this position is $97, $139,125.00 annually depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
