I am well-organized, independent, and collaborative in carrying out responsibilities.  I am forward-looking, demonstrate initiative, and find myself constantly setting goals and leading people to accomplish them.  I am comfortable working closely with others in order to thrive in a dynamic work environment.  I have the ability to manage sensitive issues with decorum and confidentiality and balance multiple priorities successfully.  I have demonstrated analytical experience and problem-solving skills and I build strong, trusting relationships with all levels of management.

I want to  transfer my professional qualities and skills in a new workplace.  I have excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills in developing strategies and implementing initiatives.  I want to continue to learn, grow, and take on new challenges and think that this position is a perfect fit for me.

I am very much interested in the position where I am able to bring my life-long experience in the law enforcement field, in particular as a senior manager and executive.  My experiences and training relate to homeland security, anti-terrorism, threat assessments, intelligence, incident response planning and implementation, and criminal investigations.  As a former commander of a police division in the largest city in New Jersey, I built, developed, and maintained relationships with the residents, visitors, business owners, religious leaders, and politicians.  My instinctual nature to learn is matched with my ability to teach. I am professionally trained as an educator and have also been trained as a police instructor.  I enjoy taking on challenges and, as a project manager, I strive to maximize my resources to the tasks at hand while paying attention to detail to ensure that the assignments are efficiently completed.  I have a deep understanding of criminal justice system, stakeholders, agencies, providers and experience with large-scale program implementation.

I have earned an Executive Masters of Public Administration degree which provided me the foundational aspect of understanding of public administration contexts and key professional competencies for public and nonprofit sectors, the analytical which examined quantitative and qualitative data methods and research design, the managerial which provided foundations in organization and human resources management, and the financial which examined financial contexts and budgeting skills.
