    Overview:

    We are seeking a skilled Resident Engineer to oversee and manage construction projects, with a particular emphasis on DDC infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of hands-on experience in DDC infrastructure projects and a strong background in construction management. As a Resident Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of projects while adhering to safety, quality, and budgetary guidelines.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Project Management: Lead and manage DDC infrastructure projects from conception to completion, ensuring all objectives are met within the defined scope, budget, and timeline.
    2. DDC Expertise: Apply in-depth knowledge of DDC systems to design, implement, and optimize infrastructure solutions, ensuring efficient building automation and energy management.
    3. Construction Oversight: Provide on-site supervision and technical guidance to construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
    4. Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections and quality assessments to identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies in construction work, ensuring adherence to design plans and industry best practices.
    5. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), and other relevant records. Communicate project status updates and milestones to stakeholders effectively.
    6. Collaboration: Foster strong working relationships with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to facilitate smooth project execution and resolve any conflicts or challenges that may arise during construction.
    7. Problem Solving: Proactively identify potential risks and obstacles during the construction process and develop effective mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and ensure project continuity.
    8. Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards, promoting a culture of safety and accountability on-site.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
    • Minimum of two years of experience in DDC infrastructure projects or related field.
    • Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from initiation to completion.
    • Strong technical expertise in DDC systems and building automation technologies.
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in project management software and MS Office applications.
    • Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
