Carlsbad, CA Corporate DivisionHow will you make an impact?As a Business Relationship Manager in the IT Gen AI Center of Excellence, you'll be the liaison between business needs and innovative AI solutions.
You'll collaborate with diverse customers, champion the adoption of Generative AI technologies, and ensure successful project delivery, contributing directly to the Center's growth and impact.
This position will provide mentorship to development teams regarding functional solutions.This person shall use relevant business/domain expertise, and understand relevant strategic business goals and product vision while having insight into current product functionality, thereby providing feasible alternatives to meet the business needs.
Also, will focus on evolving our Generative AI strategy and other new technologies.What will you do? Connect business needs to AI capabilities by understanding challenges and opportunities, and advocating for their development and implementation.
Drive solution definition by working with product managers, IT leads, and business leaders to co-create Generative AI-powered solutions that address specific business needs, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
Champion user adoption by establishing relationships with potential users, educating them on the value of Generative AI solutions, and addressing any concerns regarding implementation and integration.
Lead project scope and success by partnering with project teams to define clear objectives, timelines, and results, monitor progress, and track key metrics.
Communicate optimally by fostering open communication channels, clearly explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences, and keeping all collaborators informed and aligned.
Stay informed by tracking industry trends, researching advancements in Generative AI, and identifying potential applications within the organization.Collaborate with cross-functional teams by building positive relationships with internal customers across divisional IT and business units to ensure smooth collaboration and project success.
Ensure compliance by adhering to the company's Global IT policies and procedures, and collaborating with IT partners for alignment. Stay flexible and adaptable by adopting dynamic work environments, handling multiple priorities, and readily adapting to changing needs.How will you get here?Education Bachelor's degree in computer science, life sciences, or business administration (equivalent work experience strongly considered).Experience 5+ years of experience demonstrating success cultivating and leading strategic business relationships within a technology context, ideally in the life science industry.
Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate them into technical requirements. Effective and engaging communication skills, both written and verbal, adept at communicating complex information to diverse audiences. Relationship-building skills with a proven track record of building trust and rapport with customers at all levels. Problem-solving attitude, applying an analytical approach to resolving issues and driving data-driven solutions. Driven by the potential of AI to redefine business operations.Additional skills (Preferred): Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP or GxP) and Computers Systems Validation (CSV) in pharmaceuticals. Strong project management skills (PMP certification preferred). Experience with Agile methodologies like SaFe. Compensation and BenefitsThe salary range estimated for this position based in California is $143,000.00$214,475.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
