    Strong problem-solving skills relating to mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment are required. Applicants should be able to study and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, and other machine specifications and determine installation procedures and equipment functionality. There is an expectation for 75% travel.

    • Field service engineers will primarily perform and oversee offsite installations, training, standard preventative maintenance and routine or emergency repairs on industrial equipment/machines.
    • The field service engineer will troubleshoot (both onsite and offsite), repair, and instruct others to repair machinery effectively and efficiently; this can include a broad scope of system issues which may include the following:
      • Electrical, PLC, HMI, contactor, relays, drives, and any other electrical components related to our machinery.
      • Mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic functions of our machines and their associated components, which can include basic hand tool use, welding, cutting, and general rebuilding experience.
    • Communicate effectively and professionally in the field with our customers regarding general repairs, training, and troubleshooting.
    • Must be able to consult with our engineers to resolve unusual problems in system operations and support the overall maintenance of our machinery.
    • Supervise, direct, and inform others in the field about testing, tuning, and adjustments of our machinery to obtain optimum operating performance.
    • Advise management regarding customer satisfaction, product performance and suggestions for product improvements; service engineers are our eyes and ears in the field.
