Position Overview

The Staff Accountant position invoices for both trade and I/C sales, financially tracks project changes and tracks backlogs, cash forecasting.

This role collaborates with Project Management to understand the manufacturing cycle for each project and the financial impacts. This position reports to the Manufacturing Controller and is located in Newington, NH.

Responsibilities

Track shipments and spending for all projects
Weekly project invoicing
Assist with quarterly margin analysis
Complete month end reconciliations and enter journal entries
Provides support during financial audits
Assist in the reporting of metrics including but not limited to inventory turns, shipments, forecast to actual results, cycle count results, productivity, and on time delivery.
Track project backlog and project changes
Must be willing to business partner with project management, production, manufacturing, and project accounting
Consistently ensures that business is always conducted with integrity and that behavior aligns with SubCom policies, procedures, and core values.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of manufacturing accounting experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Knowledge of Excel Pivot Table, Conditional Formatting, and Vlookups
ERP experience required (Oracle experience, a plus)
Detail oriented with strong analytical, written and oral skills
