BECOMING ONE OF OUR ESSENTIAL VET TECHS:
As a Vet Tech at Kittery Animal Hospital, get ready for a flexible schedule that fits your lifestyle. We have both full-time and part-time options available. Picture yourself in action, working alongside our talented team from Monday to Saturday. Shifts rotate between 7:30 AM to 1:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 6:30 PM, Monday through Friday. And every other Saturday, from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, you'll be lending a helping paw. Occasionally on Sundays, you'll be our hero on-call, ensuring our strays and boarders receive prompt attention when emergencies arise.

Your day as a Vet Tech will be filled with incredible experiences.

Imagine providing client education, supporting our talented doctors in examination rooms and surgeries, and running laboratory procedures using top-of-the-line Idexx equipment.

Multitasking will be your superpower as you handle patient care, surgery, phone work, and confidently communicate with pet owners, offering them peace of mind and guidance on healthcare-related matters.

All that you need to excel in this role is the following:

  • 3 years of experience in a veterinary hospital setting
  • Completion of an AVMAaccredited technician program
  • Desire to learn and be part of a team that is accountable for client education and patient comfort
