Position is located in the Kittery, Maine region.


Responsibilities:


  • Effectively manage assigned projects to achieve budgeted gross margins for successful financial performance.
  • Monthly project reviews of all assigned projects focusing on cost control and schedule compliance.
  • Effective management of resources.
  • Conduct client kickoff meetings and communicate the results of the client expectations to senior management and project team members.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with main client POC's, participate in programlevel meetings with clients to ensure repeat business and identify upcoming bid opportunities.
  • Support and participate in proposal development.
  • Submission of client required documentation and preparation of invoices.
  • Effectively maintain and update project schedules.
  • Identify, analyze, and respond to project risk elements.
  • Effectively develop and manage/utilize assigned project staff resources; this position will provide technical expertise and technical assistance to assigned project support staff.
  • Evaluate overall staffing needs within area of accountability and align assigned team with policies, culture, and values at BBCH.
  • Provide resource planning, project cost estimation, project cost estimating, project cost budgeting, and project cost control.
  • This position may perform technical work; develop contract reports, and design documents (drawings, specifications, cost estimates); provide onsite technical assistance; report writing, O&M development as applicable; and conduct contractor submittal reviews.
  • Task order and contract fee proposal preparation.
  • Attend all scheduled project management meetings, communicate conflicts that would prevent meeting attendance.
  • Manage subcontractors and approval of subcontractor invoices.
  • Acquire needed supplies and services from outside vendors.
  • Keep required licensing and certifications current.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of all corporate policies and reporting systems and scheduling software.

Qualifications:


  • 10+ years experience in Civil Construction
  • 510 years managing design/build Civil projects
  • An Engineering degree
  • PE license preferred
  • Must reside in the Northeast/East Coast Region, Travel required up to 25%.
  • As a condition of employment, you may be required to pass a preemployment drug screening and have acceptable references and background check results.
Physical Requirements

Essential and marginal functions may require maintaining physical condition necessary for bending, stooping, sitting, walking or standing for prolonged periods of time; most of time is spent sitting in a comfortable position with frequent opportunity to move about.

Near visual acuity to review documentation, ability to hear and understand speech at normal room levels. Must maintain a constant state of mental alertness at all times. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Working Environment

Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse.

The work described herein is primarily a modern office setting.
Compensation
$120,000 - $150,000 yearly
