    The Altman Management Company is a well-established property management company throughout PA, NJ and DE areas. We are seeking a full-time Payroll Manager to join our corporate office located in Fort Washington, PA.

    Job Summary:

    The Payroll Manager will be the sole payroll contact and will be responsible for supporting payroll activities for biweekly payrolls for multi-state locations, including pre and post processing analysis, compensation changes, various adjustments, reporting and ensuring compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations. This person will also be responsible for enhancing our Payroll and Benefits experience.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    · ADP Administrator- assist with enhancing payroll and benefits experience through ADP system for our employees
    · Process biweekly payroll through Payroll system for exempt, non-exempt, and part-time employees, including ensuring timecards are approved
    · Ensure compliance with federal, state and local payroll regulations
    · Process long- and short-term disability and FMLA requests, including preparing necessary forms, and tracking leaves
    · Analyze and prepare requested payroll transactions in the system: benefits, deductions, garnishments, etc.
    · Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting and payroll activities
    · Maintain employee files and payroll files
    · Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters
    · Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve any issues
    · Take on additional human resources responsibilities to support the HR Director, including entering new hires and terminations into HRIS and Benefits portal, Open Enrollment activities, benefits billing, and other areas as needed
    · Other duties as assigned

    Education and Experience:

    · High School Diploma
    · Minimum 2 years of RECENT payroll processing experience
    · Experience in ADP highly preferred
    · Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
