Job Summary:
Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Manages all aspects of weekly payroll processing collecting and verifying employee data, computing wages, complete employment verifications and garnishments, and ensure employees receive correct payment.
- Screens daily timecards, enters timecard data, reviews keyed entries, and verifies accuracy of data entry both daily and weekly for reasonableness and consistency. Communicates with supervisors to correct and fix timecard issues.
- Record, summarize, evaluate, and report financial transactions.
- Responsible for handling account analysis, which is the overall process of managing financial transactions.
- Coordinating annual audits.
- Act as a liaison between the organization and external IT service providers.
- Facilitate communication and coordinate efforts between employees and IT service providers.
- Serve as a mediator to resolve any issues or conflicts between the organization and external IT services.
- Assist in the interpretation of technical jargon and communicate it effectively to nontechnical staff.
- Provide basic technical support and troubleshooting assistance to internal teams.
- Assist in the evaluation and selection of IT vendors and services.
- Maintain documentation related to IT processes, procedures, and vendor contracts.
- Maintain accurate records of asset allocations to employees.
- Ensure compliance with relevant IT policies, procedures, and regulations.
PHYSICAL/LIFE SKILLS/PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent organization and telephone skills are mandatory
- Advanced Mathematical skills and strong attention to detail
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Proficient with payroll software
- Professionally mature with the ability to handle multiple priorities and work independently under general supervision
- Dependable and Punctual
- Ability to accurately transcribe and/or extract information from drafts, notes, and memos
- Must be willing/able to work overtime and weekends as requested
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Must have reliable means of transportation to and from work
- Must be willing to travel, including overnight or longer
- Be able to work with a high level of professional integrity & confidentiality
- Must have strong sense of meeting deadlines and follow up capabilities
- Excellent problemsolving ability
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent ability to work with a diverse group of people with successful results
- Ability to work under conditions that generate frequent interruptions and maintain accuracy of detail under pressure of meeting deadlines
- Ability to detect errors in correspondence or printed materials.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Fouryear college degree preferred
- Three to Five years Bookkeeper experience preferred
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a valid driver's license, automobile insurance and reliable transportation.
Pay:
From $45,000.00 per year
