:JOB SUMMARY
Perform clerical duties involving electronic funds transfers (EFT), card services, and automated clearinghouse (ACH) functions in a timely, accurate manner that provides members with quality service.
Requirements:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Process daily postings of ACH items and share drafts.
- Verify the accuracy of postings and resolve any differences.
- Record and balance all unprocessed Share Draft and ACH items.
- Process all returns, rejections, and stop payments in a timely manner.
- Return Government Reclamations.
- Process and correct all EFT transactions transmitted daily.
- Work with payroll contacts to coordinate payroll deductions, new member information, corrections, updates, changes, etc.
- Assist in solving member issues or questions on EFT/ACH, debit, credit, prepaid cards, wire transfers, etc.
- Process incoming and outgoing, foreign and domestic, wire transfers.
- Process debit and credit card orders and research or maintenance requests.
- Answer staff/member inquiries.
- Handle card disputes and compromises.
- Originate loan and mortgage ACH payments for the credit union.
- Other duties as assigned by management.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience with ACH and/or dispute processing is preferred but not required.

This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers/scanners, filing cabinets, 10-key calculators, and fax machines. The position requires manual dexterity and the ability to lift files and open filing cabinets.
The employee is required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as necessary.
The employee must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.OTHER DUTIES
