A main function of the position is to accurately create material quotes based on the information provided.

The right person for this position is extremely detail oriented, loves learning and working with numbers while calculating the correct measurements/quotes.

The ability to accurately read a tape measure, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment is essential.


Responsibilities:


  • Happily, answer incoming calls and greets/helps walkin customers
  • Coordinate with customers, vendors, and management to facilitate the flow of a high volume of work orders
  • Produce cost estimate from drawings or client description
  • Accurately submit orders for fabrication in our onsite shop or with our various vendors
  • Confirm orders are received and accurate
  • Track shipping/receiving invoices and code appropriately
  • Schedule delivery and install with clients
  • General administrative duties including data entry and filing
  • Process timecards for biweekly payroll handled by HR
  • Accounts Receivable post checks
  • Maintain petty cash
  • Process and maintain credit card receipts
  • Inventory tracking
  • Place orders for stock glass, shop, and office supplies

Requirements for Success:


  • Must be able to read a tape measure


  • Mathematically inclined

  • Basic Math, Geometry skills, able to work with percentages, fractions, and decimals
  • Critical thinking and problemsolving
  • Able to understand and accurately communicate customer's needs
  • Strong working knowledge and proficiency in the Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong customer service and office administrative skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to positively collaborate with others
  • Highly organized, with strong time management skills
  • Possess a sense of urgency and prioritization skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Prior customer service experience and desire to provide exceptional service
