- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum of three (3) years project management experience for multiple complex projects
- Experience in managing self-directed work and the work of others
- Comprehensive knowledge of project management with a proven track record of success
- Attention to detail and timelines of task completion with high quality control, time management, and organizational skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to oversee production of instructional and informational materials including integration of technology
- Strong organizational, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to research in order to anticipate future needs of initiative(s) and apply research in meaningful way
- Ability to lead statewide collaborations with colleagues, supervisors, direct reports, contractors, ESC staff, and Texas Education Agency (TEA) staff
- Experience in desktop publishing, data collection, and related software
- Knowledge of systematic planning strategies related to state and federal guidelines
- Ability to give clear and specific feedback
- Proficiency with web analytics, gathering/analyzing survey data and producing reports with data from multiple sources
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Smartsheet, , Basecamp)
- Skill providing customer support, conference logistics, and facilitating in-person or virtual meetings utilizing an array of technologies
- Master's degree preferred
- Serve as a representative of ESC Region 13, displaying courtesy, tact, considerations, and discretion in all interactions with other members of the educational community and with the public
- Provide program management and oversight of grant requirements, including but not limited to, communication, timelines, and approval processes with vendors, staff, and internal and external education stakeholders
- Manage day to day operations of multiple deliverables with inter-related dependencies that may evolve based on program needs
- Provide technical assistance for all statewide stakeholders and serve as liaison between ESC, TEA staff, vendors, project participants, and internal and external education stakeholders including organizing events, meeting and related program activities that support the needs of the program.
- Provide research and inquiry on industry trends and participate in strategic, long-range content planning
- Develop systems for data-gathering and provide detailed analysis and reporting for all aspects of projects related to the program, using the data for program decision-making
- Collaborate with Senior Coordinator on the completion of all program requirements, budget allotments, and fiscal reports
- Negotiate budgets, agreements, and competitive requests for proposals
- Develop and distribute professional development (print and digital) materials for projects and provide continual updates to those materials
- Provide quality assurance review of products, communication, and assets and recommend updates
- Appraise work group productivity and help assess project efficiency and effectiveness
- Plan and coordinate filming and video development for product assets
- Plan and coordinate meetings and provide end-to-end solutions for program needs
- Create and negotiate contracts with contractors and vendors and ensure timely completion of contract deliverables
- Host video conference meetings, create run of show plans, provide support to presenters and staff, and run follow-up reports (hosting/managing meetings)
- Apply deep knowledge of grant programs and digital systems to create or improve processes and develop technical solutions to anticipate and meet client needs
