Four Hands is hiring a Special Projects Coordinator to join our dedicated warehouse team We are looking for hard working team players to contribute to our well established furniture wholesale business.

Four Hands is one of the largest home furnishing distributors in Austin, TX. We operate out of seven locations with nearly 1,000,000 sqft of warehouse space.

A role in our distribution center means being in the heart of getting products to our customers as quickly as possible.


The Warehouse Special Projects Coordinator performs a variety of duties to manage the flow of reverse logistics materials including, but not limited to, inbound processing, product inspection, and product disposition.


In This Role:


  • Aid in photoshoot preparation, encompassing tasks such as:
  • Preparing and assembling furniture, which includes cleaning.
  • Unboxing and reboxing furniture
  • Moving and rearranging products for photographers, as well as contributing to minor set design
  • Assist in the setup of the retail showroom
  • Transfer finished materials to designated storage areas within the warehouse
  • Stage and fulfill Point of Sale (POS) orders for retail
  • Load furniture into customer vehicles
  • Identify items on all paperwork including, but not limited to:
  • Shipment Completion/Transfer Completion
  • Customer orders and labels
  • Manifest documents
  • Packing list
  • Stock receipts
  • Bill of ladings as needed
  • Uphold our Core Values and be a valuable member of the Four Hands Team
  • Other duties as assigned by Management

The Ideal Person:


  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting
  • Forklift operator experience and certification is a plus
  • Proficiency in metric reporting using Microsoft Excel is preferred
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new knowledge, skills, and tasks
  • Strong capacity to navigate ambiguity and adapt to shifting priorities in a dynamic work environment
  • Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. without assistance
  • Able to stand and lift for extended periods, up to 8 hours
