Special Projects Associate to join our dedicated warehouse team We are looking for hard working team players to contribute to our well established furniture wholesale business.

Four Hands is one of the largest home furnishing distributors in Austin, TX. We operate out of seven locations with nearly 1,000,000 sqft of warehouse space.

A role in our distribution center means being in the heart of getting products to our customers as quickly as possible.

The Warehouse Special Projects Associate will perform a variety of duties to manage the flow of reverse logistics materials including, but not limited to, inbound processing, product inspection, and product disposition.

In This Role:

Perform order picking duties efficiently
Load and unload containers and trucks
Transfer finished materials to designated storage locations within the warehouse
Accurately identify items on various paperwork, including but not limited to:
Customer orders and labels
Manifest documents
Packing lists
Stock receipts
Bill of ladings as required
Meet productivity targets as needed
Maintain an exceptionally clear and safe work environment
Uphold our Core Values and be a valuable member of the Four Hands Team
Other duties as assigned by Management

The Ideal Person:

Minimum 1 year of experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting
Forklift operator experience and certification is a plus
Proficiency in metric reporting using Microsoft Excel is preferred
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new knowledge, skills, and tasks
Strong capacity to navigate ambiguity and adapt to shifting priorities in a dynamic work environment
Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. without assistance
Able to stand and lift for extended periods, up to 8 hours
