    Description
    At Sirona Medical we're building tools for physicians to work as fast as they can think.

    In fact, 80% of healthcare data flows through radiology IT systems, and radiologists are among healthcare's most tech-savvy and influential physicians.

    But they desperately need better, user-friendly software that cuts clicks and optimizes diagnostic time.

    Sirona is building a modern cloud-native and AI-powered operating system ("RadOS") that unifies radiology IT onto a single, streamlined workspace.

    We're a San Francisco, CA-based software company (with employees working from all over the world) founded on a deep understanding of both the practice and business of radiology.

    We are seeking an exceptional Software Engineering Manager to join our team and work out of our San Francisco office.

    This role requires end-to-end ownership of the product, working closely with product and design teams to set standards and ensure product quality.

    The Software Engineering Manager will lead the Sirona Reporter team, an accomplished full-stack unit responsible for our industry-changing cloud-native radiology reporter product.

    Translate intricate functional and technical requirements into detailed project plans and schedules.

    • Effectively manage daytoday activities of the engineering team, establishing and maintaining a coherent, progressive development strategy for our product line.
    • Drive the evolution of the software engineering practice within the organization, including enhancing reporting, tools, and development methodologies.
    • Provide comprehensive status reports on product quality to senior management, customer support, and product teams through rigorous execution of detailed plans and accurate reporting of test cases, bug discoveries, and resolutions.
    • Foster the growth of a highperforming development team by leading recruitment efforts, managing team dynamics, and conducting performance evaluations.
    • Act as a bridge between the Engineering and Product teams to streamline the production of features that revolutionize radiology workflow.
    Minimum 3 years of experience as a Software Engineering Manager.

    • A strong background with at least 8 years of fullstack development experience.
    • Proven experience in developing and optimizing engineering processes.
    • Exceptional project management skills to ensure project adherence to timelines and objectives.
