    Professional Search Group (PSG) is seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join the team in our Quality Control Department. The ideal Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support, handle front desk duties, and assist in event planning. This role requires exceptional organizational skills and a customer-focused approach.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Answer and direct incoming telephone calls and related requests
    • Coordinate mix design submittals to both internal and external customers
    • Assist internal/external customers with QC related issues
    • Prepare Purchase Orders, receive and process invoices for payment
    • Assist and/or manage special projects
    • Assist other departments as needed
    • Perform clerical functions including but not limited to data entry, typing, filing and the purchase and tracking of supplies
    • Schedule and work with outside vendors to service the department's operational needs
    • Other duties as assigned

    Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

    • One (1) year office/clerical experience with working knowledge of business procedures including letter and report formats
    • Working knowledge of administrative tasks and functions of a construction materials laboratory, preferred
    • Customer service experience preferred

    Desired Skills and Abilities:

    • Ability to be precise and accurate when preparing letters and reports
    • Good verbal and written communication skills
    • Good basic math skills
    • Working knowledge of office procedure including letter and report formats
    • Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word and Excel
