    Position Overview:

    The Talent Acquisition Specialist (TAS) at PACO plays a crucial role in sourcing, attracting, prescreening, and interviewing prospective qualified candidates.

    Responsible for reviewing Task Order Requests (TORs) in detail to ensure all necessary job information is provided, the TAS collaborates closely with the Director of Business Development to verify candidate qualifications before submission.

    This role demands a proactive approach to recruitment, leveraging various candidate sources to maintain a robust talent pipeline for our current and future project needs.


    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Develop Recruitment Strategies:
    Formulate and execute recruitment strategies tailored to attract top talent for consulting engineering roles within PACO.

    Candidate Sourcing:
    Utilize various channels, including job boards, social media, networking, and referrals, to source and attract potential candidates.

    Screening and Evaluation:

    Conduct thorough screening and evaluation of candidates through phone and in-person interviews to assess qualifications and suitability for specific roles.


    Talent Pipeline Management:

    Build and maintain a talent pipeline of qualified candidates, ensuring a steady flow of potential hires for current and future opportunities.


    Recruitment Process Management:
    Manage the entire recruitment process, from job postings and interview scheduling to reference checks.

    Collaboration with Hiring Managers:
    Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, develop comprehensive job descriptions, and align candidate profiles with TORs.

    Candidate Relationship Management:

    Cultivate strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders to ensure a positive candidate experience and to facilitate successful job placement.


    Compliance and Policy Adherence:
    Ensure compliance with legal and company policies and procedures throughout the recruitment process.

    Industry Engagement:
    Stay abreast of industry trends and developments by attending industry events, conferences, and job fairs.

    Client Interaction:

    Request and secure debriefings from clients for both selected and rejected candidates to gain valuable insights into their hiring decision-making process.


    Data Collection:

    Gather relevant data throughout the recruitment process, including the number of job postings created, the number of candidates sourced through various channels (job boards, social media, referrals, etc.), and thetotal duration to fill each position.


    Performance Metrics:
    Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of recruitment efforts.

    Examples include cost per hire, quality of hire (assessed through performance evaluations), applicant conversion rates (percentage of applicants progressing to each stage of the hiring process), and offer acceptance rates.


    Recommendations:
    Based on data analysis, make recommendations for process improvements and strategic adjustments.

    Continuous Improvement:
    Review and refine recruitment reporting processes to ensure relevance and effectiveness.

    Administrative Support:
    Provide administrative support as needed to support company functions and initiatives.

    Listing Generation:
    Ability to write clear and concise job descriptions for use in advertising open PACO positions.


    REQUIREMENTS:
    Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Management, Engineering, or related field.

    Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar role, focusing on recruiting in the engineering industry.

    Strong understanding of the engineering industry and technical roles.


    Strong writing skills with the ability to tailor existing resumes to highlight each candidate's experience and capabilities relative to stated position requirements.

    Experience using various recruitment methods, including job boards, social media, networking, and referrals.

    Knowledge of recruitment best practices and employment laws and regulations.

    Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.

    Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

    Salary

    $80,000 - $90,000 (commensurate with experience)
