Contracts Manager (Temporary, Remote)

LHH is teaming up with a software services company in search of a temporary Contracts Manager. This fully remote position is expected to have a duration of about 2-3 months.

The Contracts Manager will manage a wide variety of contracts, grants, and agreements within a dynamic setting. They have the skills to navigate competing demands and are eager to contribute to the development of a Contracts program within a rapidly expanding organization. They possess initiative, promptly identifying tasks and executing them with precision.

Primary Responsibilities:

Manage contract requests, review and route contract documents, amendments, and renewals.
Analyze contract requirements to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
Draft, review, and edit standard contracts and ancillary documents.
Obtain routine NDA and confidentiality documents.
Maintain electronic databases and document management systems for contract and grant records.
Review and monitor contract metrics, deliverables, and timelines.
Ensure contracts and agreements are approved and executed in line with organizational standards.
Plan and carry out recurring work using established procedures.
Track and maintain organizational compliance registrations, renewals, and reporting.

Experience Requirements:

3 years of experience in contract management, contract administration, grant management, or paralegal field.
Knowledge of contractual language, agreement types, standards, and terminology.
Serviceoriented with excellent communication and analytical skills.
Strong organization skills and ability to balance competing needs.
Ability to negotiate contract elements and suggest solutions for contractual and compliance concerns.
Proficiency in Google Docs, Adobe, Microsoft Office, Financial Management, and Contract Lifecycle Management systems.

Job Type: Contract (2-3 months)
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Remote (Priority given to candidates based in the San Francisco/Bay Area and Sacramento, CA)
Hours: Full-time, regular office hours
Pay Rate: $49-$54/hour, depending on experience
