    Description
    Senior Accountant for an international leasing start-up company located in Irvine CA. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the entire accounting and financial processes in the US and work in conjunction with the Finance Team in China.

    Client will consider Temporary to Hire or Direct Hire. Pay range is $38/hr-48/hr depending on experience. Work schedule is Monday-Friday, 9am - 6pm, with a 1 hour unpaid lunch.

    Key Responsibilities will include, but not limited to::

    • Month-end activities, recurring monthly journal entries, GL & account reconciliation, fixed assets, and accruals. Must possess a solid understanding of debits and credits.
    • Post inter-company transactions and reconcile inter-company balances.
    • The focus will be G&A (General & Administrative operating expenses) cost center analysis, reconciliation, variance analysis, and reporting to Department Managers.
    • Assist in the preparation of financial statements.
    • Bank reconciliation & daily bank updates.
    • Account analysis to review monthly variances between actual and budgeted expenses and to ensure expenses are posted to correct accounts.
    • Financial reporting, preparation of supporting schedules, and data analysis.
    • Assist with corporate consolidation and subsidiary eliminations.
    • Have a good understanding of Fixed Assets, Pre-paids, accounting for leases, audit schedules, Property Tax, and Sales & Use Tax.


    Requirements:

    • Expertise to set up and operate a larger scale accounting book
    • Experience with bringing up business from 1 to 100
    • Experience with SEC compliance, IPO steps
    • Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, finance, or a related field from a domestic university
    • CPA required (or an equivalent certification)
    • Recent Experience within 6 months with long tenure at a Single Organization: Working in at least one position for a duration of 3-5 years
    • Audit experience, min 1 year, with a firm like Ernst & Young or Deloitte.
    • Strong self-motivation and self-management skills, proactive and fast learning ability.
    • Demonstrated analytical skills and keen insights into problem-solving and data analysis.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Proficiency in a CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Mandarin is a big plus; if not fluent, would like understanding of the language

    Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $ $48.08 Per Hour
