    Position Title:
    CONTRACT PROPOSAL DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST
    • K12 FOOD SERVICE
    • REMOTE Salary: Part Time 4 month project from Jan 2024 to May hours per week $50/hour $60/hour Chartwells K12's goal is to make sure students leave the cafeteria happier and healthier than they came in, by serving food kids love to eat and creating custom dining programs.

    For more information, visit Job SummaryWorking as a Proposal Support Specialist, you'll collaborate with our growth and retention team to effectively tell our story and showcase the value of Chartwells in proposals and presentations.

    This role supports activities related to RFP response and helps maintain workflow and communication processes between a variety of internal units.

    Excellent communication skills are essential along with a service-oriented and winning approach.
    This is a part-time (@20 hours per week), remote-based temporary position running approximately from mid
    • January to the end of May 2024.

    Key Responsibilities:


    Curate and organize a multitude of data - written and visual, including: photos, videos, business reports and case studies, etc.

    Task deadline oversight, managing the team's task schedules, setting reminders, tracking progress, and implementing strategies to ensure efficient workflow while staying on track with deadlinesAttend meetings with internal stakeholders, gaining insight and sharing acquired knowledge with the proposal development teamEngage in the last review phase of proposals and other output documentsPreferred Qualifications:

    Foundational knowledge of business, sales, and/or Marketing - acquired through practical work experience or formal educationService industry and food service experience is preferredProject Management experience Skilled in MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams and SharePoint)Experience working virtually within a team environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skills are essentialIdeal candidate will enjoy attention to details and have a tenacious drive for team's successApply to Chartwells Schools todayChartwells Schools is a member of Compass Group USAClick here to Learn More about the Compass Story Compass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
