- Develop and implement strategies to expand market share and increase brand presence nationally.
- Identify and capitalize on market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to drive business growth.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement strategies for expanding the customer base.
- Analyze market conditions and pricing strategies to ensure sustainable and profitable business operations.
- Collaborate with the sales, finance, and business unit team members to monitor and manage budgetary targets.
- Work closely with the sales team and market development representatives to identify and create opportunities with our largest customers and expand our business as opportunities are identified.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Serve as the primary point of contact and communication link between field sales teams and the General Manager.
- Provide regular updates on market trends, customer feedback, and sales performance.
- Work closely with the sales team to coordinate efforts and optimize the sales process.
- Engage in weekly travel (approximately 50%) to support the sales team, meet with customers, and assess market conditions.
- Spanish language skills are beneficial, facilitating communication with Spanish-speaking customers and team members.
- Act as a liaison between contractors and internal teams to ensure smooth communication and collaboration.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred or equivalent industry experience.
- Minimum 5-7 years of outside sales experience required; proven track record of success in national market development and outside sales.
- Strong analytical and strategic planning skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving targets and objectives.
- Self-motivated with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
- Familiarity with the construction or building industry is a plus.
- A willingness to travel as much as 50% of the time.
