    Job Description
    The Accounts Payable Specialist will support the accounting operations of the company. They will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining the financial integrity of the organization.

    This may include but is not limited to overseeing the accounts payable process, ensuring accuracy and contributing to the overall efficiency of our financial operations.

    This person should have excellent communication, technology, and analytical skills.

    Minimum Requirements:
    Proven work experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or in a similar role
    Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
    Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
    Effective communication and interpersonal skills
    Proficient in Microsoft excel and accounting software
    Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
    Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards
    Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field is preferred, but not required

    Additional preferred skills :
    Experience with Salesforce CRM, Concur, Bamboo, Excel and other software
    Experience with Quickbooks software

    Responsibilities/Tasks:


    The Account's Payable Specialist will be expected to follow-through consistently in all efforts, build relationships with employees, and provide support on all company financial operations.


    Other daily, weekly, and/or monthly tasks may include:
    Reviewing, verifying and processing invoices accurately and in a timely manner
    Reconciling and managing employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies
    Communicating effectively with vendors to address inquiries, resolve discrepancies and maintain positive relationships
    Maintain organized and up to date records of all accounts payable transactions
    Facilitate the timely and accurate processing of payments to vendors, suppliers and service providers
    Assist in generating reports related to accounts payable for internal and external use
    Ensure compliance with company policies, relevant regulations and accounting standards
    Work closely with other departments, including finance and procurement, to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency
    Investigate and resolve discrepancies or issues related to accounts payable transactions
    Additional tasks as assigned by management.

    Commitment:

    40 hours per week, 8am-5pm
    ***Please note that while training these hours may be adjusted slightly to align with the schedule of the Accounting and Administrative Manager

    Compensation:
    Starting salary range is $45-50k. Also included are full medical/dental/vision benefits, 401k plan with company match, a generous PTO schedule and 11 paid holidays including your birthday
