Description

ASSYST is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented individual who has a knack for writing, presenting, engaging, and producing artifacts that effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical users. The ideal candidate will possess excellent writing skills, technical aptitude, and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, engineering, and product management to gather information and insights necessary for crafting high-quality responses to RFIs, RFPs, and other technical documents.
Analyze RFI/RFP requirements and develop detailed outlines, templates, and schedules to guide the proposal development process.
Research, write, and edit technical content, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with client specifications and industry standards.
Work closely with subject matter experts to validate technical information and incorporate their input into proposal responses.
Review and revise draft proposals for clarity, consistency, and coherence, adhering to established brand guidelines and formatting standards.
Collaborate with proposal coordinators, graphic designers, and other team members to enhance the visual appeal and effectiveness of proposal documents.
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market developments to inform and improve proposal content and messaging.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Writing, Communications, or a related field.
Experience in technical writing, with a focus on responding to RFIs, RFPs, and similar documents within the technology sector.
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
Strong understanding of technology solutions, including software applications, cloud services, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure.
Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, persuasive, and customer-focused language.
Experience working in a deadline-driven environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other document management tools.
