On behalf of our client, a renowned company in the machinery and plant engineering industry, we are looking for a Technical Writer.

Your responsibilities

  • Creation and maintenance of technical documents, such as operation, maintenance, and user manuals
  • Compliance with legal requirements, standards, and guidelines
  • Incorporation of supplier documentation and independent research for missing information
  • Close collaboration with involved departments
  • Technical clarification and coordination with sales, design, and project management
  • Optimization and maintenance of existing manuals and instructions
  • Creation and editing of graphical representations, illustrations, and photos

Your profile

  • Completed technical university degree or further education as a Technical Writer
  • Professional experience in technical writing, ideally in the machinery and plant engineering industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
  • Knowledge of CAD and editorial systems is advantageous but not required
  • Excellent written and spoken German and good English skills
  • Strong technical understanding and enjoyment of working with technical standards and guidelines
  • Structured and precise working style, as well as strong communication and teamwork
