Description

The Service Writer will play a crucial role in ensuring excellent customer service and efficient operations within our automotive service department.

• Greet customers and assist them with their service needs
• Communicate with customers to understand vehicle issues and provide accurate information
• Prepare service estimates and invoices for customers
• Coordinate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
• Maintain customer records and update service history
• Handle cash transactions and process payments
• Provide recommendations for additional services based on vehicle inspections
  Qualifications:
• Prior experience in customer service, preferably in an automotive setting
• Knowledge of automotive diagnostics and repair processes
• Ability to estimate auto repair costs accurately
• Strong sales skills to promote additional services
• Familiarity with auto service management practices
• Mechanical knowledge to understand technical aspects of vehicle repairs
• Experience working as a service technician is a plus
• Proficiency in cash handling procedures
