    Job Description:

    The Role

    As a Communication Consultant you will develop participant communications and financial education for retirement plans within the tax-exempt market.

    This role sits within the Tax-Exempt Market, under Fidelity Personal Investing. Aligned closely with Fidelity Workplace Investing, we support retirement plans for tax-exempt employers and their participants. Our clients are organizations in healthcare, higher education, government, and faith-based sectors, aiming to improve lives. Our mission is to assist their employees in becoming retirement-ready.

    We cater to those who serve others, reflecting in our client interactions and team collaboration.

    You will analyze participant engagement data strategically, develop communication strategies to drive actions, and enhance client satisfaction. Providing excellent customer service as a part of the client service team, contributing to various projects.

    • Ensuring client satisfaction by executing effective communication strategies based on needs and goals
    • Responding promptly to client inquiries, exceeding expectations
    • Engaging with clients on communication services and regulatory matters
    • Leading client meetings to review requirements, deadlines, and budget implications
    • Analyzing plan materials, educating business partners
    • Navigating operational processes for communication deployment
    • Coordinating project plans to manage multiple priorities
    • Proposing solutions within budget constraints
    • Measuring successes and reporting based on plan goals
    • Identifying new client opportunities and addressing needs
    • Identifying process improvements and implementing changes
    • Participating in additional project management responsibilities
    • Up to 40% travel required

    The Expertise and Skills You Bring

    • BA/BS Required
    • 5+ years in communications or benefits consulting preferred
    • Experience with plan sponsors and client service teams
    • FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses preferred
    • Ability to analyze employee and plan data for custom solutions
    • Strong public speaking and consultative skills
    • In-depth understanding of communication process across various media
    • Proven ability to work independently and provide recommendations
    • Desire to enhance participant engagement story to plan sponsors
    • Curiosity for innovative techniques in engaging clients and participants
    • Subject matter expertise in Fidelity defined contribution products
    • Project management experience
    • Knowledge of financial industry standards
    • Collaborative team player
