    Keville Enterprises, Inc., an established Construction Management and Inspection firm, is seeking qualified candidates to serve as a full-time, Office Engineer (O.E.) on public agency projects in the Boston Massachusetts area. A conscientious individual, with a positive attitude, is required.

    RESPONSIBILITIES: The O.E. will be serving as an owner/agency representative on their capital construction program. The O.E. will be responsible for: supporting the management and oversight of the construction contractor; helping to manage all project status reporting; ensuring that administrative requirements are performed in accordance with construction contract plans and specifications; helping to monitor the contractor compliance with the approved quality control plan; coordinating the requirements/needs of the owner/agency, reviewing the contractor's schedule updates for accuracy; processing the contractor's requests for payment; helping to process the contractor submittals; attending weekly project status meetings; attending other meetings as required; reviewing reports for cost, schedule, budget, inspection, submittal status, change order status, and other reports; developing various project related reports; utilizing the owner/agency's project status software; helping to process change orders; coordinating with other field/office staff; and other duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering or a related degree.
    • Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of resident engineering and/or office engineering experience, preferably on highway and bridge construction.
    • Candidates must have excellent communication skills, demonstrated writing ability, demonstrated ability to get along with all personality types, and strong computer skills.
    • Experience in program management systems (Sharepoint), Excel and Power Point.
    • The position is not a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) and a P.E. is not required.

    OTHER: Must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with Keville's driving policy. OSHA 10 certification is a condition of employment. This position is exempt under the FLSA. This employer participates in e-verify. More Information:

    WORK ENVIRONMENT: Hybrid work environment with some work performed on site in the Boston area (for on-site meetings and in the project field office), and some work will be performed remotely.
