About the Job:

Qt Group is looking for an
_Account Manager, QA_ to join our sales team.

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for finding and developing new business opportunities and growing the Qt Quality Assurance customer base within a defined territory.


You will connect with Director and VP-level Engineering professionals and demonstrate the value of Static Code, Software Architecture Analysis tools, and other Qt Quality Assurance products such as Test Automation.

You will help customers solve their development issues and deliver business outcomes with a consultative sales approach


You will:


  • Develop and implement smart customer acquisition strategies to grow Qt's Quality Assurance customer base
  • Build and maintain strategic longterm relationships with our customers to achieve organic growth and longterm company goals
  • Lead and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing (including commercial contract negotiations)
  • Plan and execute on the strategic, operational, and tactical levels of customer engagement
  • Align with business development managers, industry leads, and regional sales leadership teams to present a single front to help represent a single vision for our customers
  • Participate in industry events to promote Qt Quality Assurance products and services

About You:


  • 35 years of experience selling software development, QA tools, embedded technology, or similar with an emphasis on net new hunting
  • Strong track record of success in selling subscriptions into complex accounts, demonstrated by overachievement of quota and strong customer references
  • Previous experience selling dual licensed, open source/commercial software is a plus
  • MEDDIC or MEDPICC certification/knowledge is a huge plus

Beneficial Skills:


  • Understanding of software development processes and the common challenges and pain points faced by developers and testers
  • Experience in selling software engineering tools such as code analysis, test automation, requirements engineering, ALM, etc.
  • Knowledge in valuebased selling, solution selling, and creating longterm business relationships in the software licensing industry
  • Targetdriven and resultsfocused personality to deliver overachievement against clear objectives and business development targets
  • Proven track record of building satisfied, loyal, and referenceable customers
  • Ability to demonstrate the value proposition and ROI of quality assurance products to potential customers
