    Description

    Avli is seeking a Restaurant Manager for our Lakeshore East establishment

    Avli Restaurants blend traditional and modern Greek cuisine, where guests can savor our core values of hospitality, joy, and passion.

    At Avli, we invite you to experience the essence of Greece through a mix of classic and contemporary dishes, a vibrant beverage selection, and an ambiance that mirrors the Greek lifestyle.

    Our preferred candidate should possess the following attributes:

    • Positive attitude
    • Effective team leadership skills
    • Proficiency in Toast POS, 7-Shifts Scheduling, Google Workspace, Tock Reservation System
    • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
    • Experience in inventory management
    • Understanding of profit and loss statements

    Responsibilities:

    Bar and Front of House Oversight

    • Supervise daily operations of the bar and dining area to ensure seamless service
    • Adhere to set standards to boost sales and reduce costs
    • Ensure staff possess necessary skills; provide guidance and training as needed
    • Manage and mentor bartenders and servers
    • Maintain a visible presence during service, embodying the Avli Philosophy of engagement with guests
    • Support agenda meetings, daily briefings, and uphold clear communication with colleagues and management
    • Handle guest concerns promptly and professionally

    Administrative Management

    • Participate in monthly inventory assessments and other requested evaluations
    • Handle payroll entries and nightly audits
    • Assist with supply and bar orders
    • Maintain employee records, oversee recruitment and verification processes, and manage corrective actions
    • Conduct end-of-day procedures, financial reports, logs, and facility security
    • Ensure staff compliance with safety regulations
    • Regularly inspect the restaurant and coordinate maintenance tasks

    General:

    • Ability to lift up to 30lbs

    Schedule:

    Flexibility to work varying hours, weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed.
