Are you looking to join a team that is dynamic, energetic, outgoing, and organized? PhysMed, Center for Physical Medicine, is the right place for you We are looking to add a Front Desk Coordinator to our team that has high energy, a professional attitude, and a desire to learn in the healthcare industry. This position is trainable, although previous medical/customer service experience is preferred. Spanish speaking is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Answering incoming patient and provider calls and requests
Completing all new patient admissions and entering it digitally.
Verifying relevant medical history and insurance information for each patient.
Scheduling appointments for consultations, tests, and procedures.
Answering and following up with phone and email inquiries from providers and patients.
Addressing any patient complaints or concerns.
Performing clerical work, such as filing, copying, or faxing.
Complying with the regulations and policies of the facility.
Patient data entry
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Ability to follow verbal instructions
Critical thinking and good interpersonal skills
Basic working knowledge of commonly used computer application and office equipment
Medical experience is not necessary but is preferred
