HealthLynked is looking for a Medical Front Desk Supervisor to oversee the front desk duties of the Naples Center for Functional Medicine in Naples, FL.

Under the direction of our Corporate Management, you will be responsible for day-to-day front office supervision and maintaining medical and staff records.

This role supports our three medical providers, a group of nurses, hyperbaric technicians and other staff, and includes front desk duties involving patient check-in and check-out.


Essential Skills and Abilities:


  • Possesses strong customer service skills to ensure the best care of our patients.
  • Has excellent verbal, written communication, and telephone skills.
  • Must be organized, reliable, dependable and with excellent attention to detail, to ensure a workable, efficient office including oversight of schedules, electronic patient records and files.
  • Excellent keyboarding and computer skills are required.
  • Ability to work with others and show a great understanding of Teamwork.
  • Knowledge of applicable operational and clinical functions.

Responsibilities

  • Shares the responsibility of overseeing the weekly schedules.
  • Shares responsibility for patients becoming members of the practice.
  • Trains and supervises front office staff.
  • Evaluates performance and reports to their manager.
  • Ensures adherence to departmental policies and procedures, including patient privacy.
  • Maintains departmental daytoday front office procedure, monitors, and prioritizes workflow and efficient patient flow. Coordinates with Manager to ensure a smoothly running front office.
  • Prepares a weekly status report regarding front office performance, proposing solutions to any challenges being faced.
  • Resolves patient complaints, and answers questions regarding policies and procedures.
  • Actively participates as a front desk staff member, performing all daily responsibilities as needed.
  • Any other duties as assigned by management.

Education and/or Experience Required:


  • One year or more experience in supervision of front office medical supervision preferable.
  • Demonstrable skills in motivating and training professional staff.
