- Conduct thorough analysis of insurance policies to determine coverage obligations and potential exposures.
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on insurance coverage issues, including interpretation of policy language and applicability of coverage.
- Assess claims and disputes arising under various types of insurance policies, including general liability, property, professional liability, and directors and officers (D&O) liability.
- Draft coverage opinions, reservation of rights letters, and coverage position letters.
- Represent clients in insurance coverage litigation, arbitration, and alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
- Collaborate effectively with clients, claims professionals, and other attorneys to develop and implement successful strategies for resolving coverage disputes.
- Stay current with developments in insurance law and industry trends.
- Assist with business development efforts, including client outreach and marketing initiatives.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the California State Bar with good standing.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience practicing insurance law, with a focus on insurance coverage matters.
