- Prepare pleadings and other docketed material for service and filing, with particular emphasis on electronic filing of documents using the Delaware Court of Chancery's system and related filing platforms.
- Maintain case files and manage document discovery.
- Assist with drafting legal documents and correspondence.
- Review and analyze briefs and motions in preparation for e-filing and service.
- Draft routine court documents for attorney review and approval.
- Update and manage attorney calendars with close attention and detail to court dates and other relevant case-related deadlines.
- Assist attorneys with time entry.
- Perform general administrative support functions as needed to support attorneys and clients and meet deadlines.
- Manage event invitations and guest lists.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of related legal administrative assistant experience.
- Strong knowledge of filing in federal and Delaware state courts. Chancery Court experience highly preferred.
- Associate degree, Paralegal Certificate, or comparable experience required.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills, detail-oriented and proactive.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task and meet multiple, competing deadlines.
- Proficient in all Microsoft programs.
- Technologically savvy, able to quickly master various software programs (e.g., court filing software, law firm billing, and time-entry software, legal/business research platforms).
