    Description

    **must sit in Charlotte but will have the opportunity to work fully remote**

    Location: REMOTE for contract - must sit in Charlotte, NC to be eligible for FTE

    Duration: 12 month contract with potential of FTE

    Interview Process: 1 and done next week

    MUST HAVES:

    • 5+ years of network support experience
    • Server patch management - ensure servers are up and running
    • Monitoring tool experience (prefer Dynatrace or SolarWinds, open to other tools)
    • Excellent communication skills and solution-oriented

    PLUSSES:

    • Experience with Broadcom, Dynatrace, and/or SolarWinds

    DAY TO DAY:

    • This entire team supports the ENOC (Enterprise Network Operation Center) - the ENOC monitors the entire enterprise network
    • The Support Engineers simply assist with break fix - for example: a server goes is the reason? Does it need to be patched? This Team DOES NOT handle root cause analysis - there is another team that assists with that work
    • MIBS (Management Information Base) assists in the diagnosis and resolution of network issues by offering comprehensive information about every device -- think of MIBS as a "cheat sheet" and provides explanations of what certain alarms mean and here is what to do to fix it
    • At least 5 years of experience and understanding of event management tools
    • Other tools: Dynatrace and Solar Winds
    • ITLL methodology
    • Day shift: 7am - 4pm or 8am - 5pm - Monday through Friday
    • Night shift: 11pm - 8am Sunday - Thursday
