    This role is with a dedicated affordable housing non-profit organization committed to creating sustainable and inclusive communities in the heart of the Upper West Side. They are passionate about providing quality housing solutions and fostering a positive environment for their residents. As they continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced and dedicated HR Business Partner with expertise in Benefits Management to join our dynamic team.

    Job Description

    1. Manage the end-to-end benefits administration process for 900 hourly and salaried employees.
    2. Oversee open enrollment, ensuring a seamless and well-communicated process for all employees.
    3. Process benefit changes, address inquiries, and provide guidance on benefit-related matters.
    4. Collaborate with the benefits broker to evaluate and enhance the current benefits offerings.
    5. Work closely with the broker to change providers if necessary, ensuring a smooth transition for employees.
    6. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to make informed recommendations.
    7. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations in benefits administration.
    8. Generate reports and analyze data related to benefits utilization, providing insights to support decision-making.
    9. Conduct employee workshops and training sessions on benefits to enhance understanding and engagement.
    10. Act as a point of contact for employees regarding benefit-related inquiries and concerns.
    11. Act as a first HR contact for employees questions
    12. Conduct employee relations investigations as needed
    13. Embrace a hybrid work model, spending three days a week in the office to facilitate collaboration and communication.

      The Successful Applicant

    14. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
    15. 5+ years of experience in HR with a focus on benefits administration.
    16. Proven experience in handling benefits open enrollment and managing changes for a large employee population.
    17. Familiarity with plan design and experience working with benefits brokers.
    18. Strong understanding of applicable laws and regulations related to benefits.
