    Position: Head of Sales

    Location: Manhattan, New York, USA

    Address: NY Garment District

    Overview:

    We are seeking an experienced and superstar Head of Sales to join our dynamic team in the Garment District of New York. The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth and developing new business opportunities by adding new accounts of successful apparel brands to our book of business.

    The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator with exceptional leadership skills and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets with constant garment orders. A solid network of garment buyers is essential for success within our company. This position will be primarily focussed on sales of garment orders with a focus on dress shirts, sweaters, and denim bottoms & jackets.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Set meetings with garment buyers to showcase our products to receive orders
    • Lead contact for all sales feedback to merchandising and product development
    • Assist with presentation of garment products to existing and prospective customers in coordination with Lead Merchandiser and Management Team
    • Streamline internal communications to ensure sales needs and goals are met.
    • Provide concise feedback for Management Team
    • Organise effective presentation of the company and its products
    • Provide information on buyer needs for new garment sourcing of woven & knit product
    • Constantly prospect for new business in New York and elsewhere in the USA
    • Provide exceptional service and value to customers through presentations on our company products and continuous prospecting
    • Stay updated on market price-points and be prepared with solid price negotiation plan
    • Grow book of business and help build a solid sales team with top performers
    • Responsibilities are not limited to above list but can include what requires priority at the time to receive garment orders and achieve sales targets

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
    • Minimum of 5+ years' experience in garment sales
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
    • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
    • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in the garment industry
    • Solid network of garment buyers to achieve constant flow of new garment orders
    • Ability to analyze market trends and identify business opportunities
    • Ability to initiate effective CRM software and sales management tools
    • Strength in both independent and collaborative work environments
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
    • Garment knowledge specialising on woven, knit and denim product categories
    • Knowledge on fabric and yarns types is preferred
    • Knowledge on trims and accessories is preferred
    • Must be authorized to work in the United States

    We offer competitive salary and a dynamic work environment in a Class A Office Space in the heart of the Garment District of New York. This position will have a base salary and include performance-based bonuses. Base Salary will range depending on experience and prior performance.
