    Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an

    Accounting Manager

    for a

    Contract

    assignment with one of our premier

    SaaS

    clients in

    San Jose, CA or Lehi, UT .

    This is a Hybrid role


    Responsibilities:
    Execute the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including but not limited to intercompany transactions, transfer pricing, FX remeasurement, and translation

    Prepare complex journal entries and accounts reconciliations

    Review of journal entries and account reconciliations of accounting staff

    Oversee GL master data maintenance

    Oversee internal-use software accounting

    Oversee the administration of the Blackline platform

    Manage and perform SOX control requirements for responsible areas

    Perform quarterly flux analysis

    Review of monthly accruals

    Drive process improvements and lead exciting accounting transformation projects to achieve scalability, efficiency, and productivity

    Work closely with internal stakeholders:
    finance, internal audit, treasury, and tax

    Support lease accounting processes and controls under ASC 842 as needed

    Manage audit

    Ad hoc projects and analyses

    Required


    Skills :
    Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance related field; CPA preferred

    Experience in SAP is a must

    5+ years of accounting experience in multinational tech companies

    Public accounting experience preferred

    Must demonstrate strong strategic, analytical, interpersonal, prioritization, and communication skills

    Must demonstrate the ability to turn around deliverables and reviews quickly while maintaining strict accuracy standards

    Experience working in a fast-paced environment

    Experience in intercompany, and foreign currency matters, including remeasurement and translation, is highly preferred

    Familiarity with Blackline and Tableau is highly preferred

    Familiarity with internal-use software is highly preferred

    An understanding of ASC 842 is highly preferred

    Tech savvy

    Self-motivated and resourceful
