    Description

    The Business Applications Manager will be responsible for overseeing the development, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise-wide software applications. This position requires strong leadership abilities, technical expertise, and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions that meet the needs of the organization. This role involves managing a delivery team of skilled professionals and coordinating with various departments. The Business Application Manager will be accountable for the performance and results of this team and ensuring the smooth functioning of critical business applications.

    The Exponential Technology Group (XTG) is a specialist in the electronic component distribution and design engineering services industries.XTG is part of the TTI Family of Specialists.This position will report to the VP, Information Technology.This position will be onsite in North Fort Worth, TX or Denver, CO with the opportunity to work from home two (2) day a week after the training period. **For the right candidate, this position may be remote.**

    ACCOUNTABILITIES

    Execute strategic plans for enterprise applications development and deployment.

    Ensure alignment of technology initiatives with organizational goals and objectives.

    Manage and direct a productive team of software developers, analysts, and support staff by hiring, training and leading qualified people, providing effective training & development, providing ongoing performance management and by utilizing effective communication.

    Foster a collaborative and productive work environment conducive to innovation and high performance.

    Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities for team members.

    Monitor and evaluate the performance of the team, providing feedback, and implementing changes as necessary to ensure the team functions optimally.

    Oversee design, development, and implementation of enterprise software applications.

    Manage integration efforts between existing systems and new applications to optimize functionality and efficiency.

    Establish robust processes and procedures for system maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting.

    Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve technical issues and ensure systems availability.

    Work closely with the Director of Enterprise Applications and other senior management to ensure alignment with the company's overall goals.

    Promote a culture of collaboration and open communication within the team and across departments.

    Additional duties as assigned.

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

    A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required.Five to Seven years' experience managing business application development teams, preferably on a global scale.Experience in strategic planning and execution.Proven track record in leading and developing high-performing teams.

    SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS

    • Proven experience in enterprise application development, deployment, and management.
    • In-depth knowledge of software development methodologies, programming languages, and database technologies.
    • Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, customer relationship management (CRM) software (Dynamics 365 preferred), and other business applications.
    • Familiarity with Agile, ITIL, or other project management frameworks.
    • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
    • Ability to work in a matrix management structure.
    • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Familiarity with Azure and the Microsoft stack is a plus.

    Total Annual Compensation: $135, ,700 / year.Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
