    Description

    About the Position: Are you a skilled proposer with a passion for creating compelling submissions? An established engineering and construction firm is seeking a Proposal Manager to lead the development and coordination of high-quality proposals for large infrastructure projects.



    Principal/Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Review RFQs and RFPs in detail and develop comprehensive compliance/responsibility matrices for content assignments
    • Establish and manage SOQ/proposal schedules, deliverables, and assignments
    • Lead project-specific teams to deliver high-quality submittals
    • Facilitate proposal and strategy meetings, including kickoffs, storyboards, and reviews
    • Direct proposal, marketing, and graphic design staff from partner firms as needed
    • Establish pursuit strategies with bid leadership teams and senior management
    • Coordinate with various corporate departments and international teams
    • Conduct research and interview project personnel for project descriptions
    • Write and edit proposal narratives ensuring technical accuracy and key messages
    • Prepare marketing materials, presentations, and information for pursuits
    • Interface with engineering and construction firms daily
    • Manage proposal documents, staff resumes, awards, and project photos
    • Mentor and train proposal team members
    • Other duties as required

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree in English, Marketing, Communications, Business, Civil Engineering, or Related Field
    • 5+ years of experience in managing large SOQs and proposals
    • Detailed understanding of design-build and/or public private partnership (P3) proposals
    • Experienced in Adobe Creative Suite and InDesign
    • Familiarity with city, state, and federal agencies related to infrastructure projects
    • Strong writing, editing, communication, and presentation skills
    • Facilitation experience with large teams
    • Ability to independently manage all aspects of SOQs and Proposals
    • Willingness to travel as necessary
