    Construction Superintendent - Residential

    About Us: Located in the scenic Agoura Hills, CA, Estrin Hinds Construction Co., Inc. is at the forefront of residential construction, specializing in both new builds and remodels across Los Angeles and Ventura Counties. Our commitment to quality, design, and customer satisfaction drives every project we undertake. We are currently looking for an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee our residential construction projects and ensure the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

    Duties:

    • Direct and oversee all aspects of the construction process, from project start to finish.
    • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and detailed construction documents.
    • Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring timely completion.
    • Coordinate and liaise with owners, architects, and other stakeholders.
    • Manage communication and workflow among subcontractors, suppliers, and the construction team.
    • Ensure all construction activities comply with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
    • Supervise and lead on-site construction crews, fostering a safe and productive work environment.
    • Monitor project progress, making adjustments as needed to meet deadlines and budgets.
    • Perform regular quality control inspections to ensure adherence to specifications and standards.
    • Manage project finances, including tracking expenses and approving invoices
    • Resolve any construction issues or conflicts that arise, ensuring smooth project progression.

    Experience:

    • A minimum of 10 years of experience in construction, with a focus on residential projects.
    • Extensive knowledge of construction processes, techniques, materials, and safety regulations.
    • Proven ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and documents.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and construction management software.
    • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
    • Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously with keen attention to detail.
    • Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish are highly desirable.

    Key Qualifications/Skills:

    • In-depth knowledge of construction supervision and project management.
    • Expertise in blueprint reading and construction documentation.
    • Exceptional organizational, time management, and communication skills.
    • Leadership ability to direct and motivate teams.
